La La Means I Love You

Fisher’s easy grooving cover of the Delfonics’ “La La (Means I Love You)” made a splash in 2008 on numerous independent stations (particularly in the Southern U.S.) and was played on XM’s The Groove channel while selling several thousand units. Fisher is friends with Delfonics lead singer William “Poogie” Hart, who loved the track and said it was one of the best versions of the song he had ever heard. When R&B recording veteran Alvin Fisher adds his old school flavor to the smooth jazz scene, it is “ABSOFLUTELY” wonderful.
